Whilst many cities in Europe seem to abound with Thai restaurants, Malta is still a little short on places specialising in authentic cuisine from this particular country. The restaurants that do, however, are some of the best the island has to offer.
One of the most popular Thai restaurants in Malta has this to say about itself: “a tranquil oasis of waterfalls, luscious greenery and tropical flowers…fresh fruits and herbs and tons of orchids are flown in weekly direct from Thailand…from the moment you step in the restaurant, you will be transported to the lands of the East”. Great! So you won’t even need a travel agent. Just go to this place and “the waterfall, the landscaping and the seating will certainly carry you far, far away”. OK, so it’s all a bit up itself, but really – most Thai restaurants in Malta are very good.
They can be a little on the expensive side, but you’re virtually guaranteed a delicious meal, well presented and prepared from authentic Thai ingredients.
Some of these restaurants go to great lengths to make your dining experience as fantastic as possible, from the seating area in the ‘tropical garden’ available at one place to the ‘private huts’ available at another.
If you’re out and about in Paceville, there are also a couple of good Thai places to visit for dinner. You can either sit at the bar for a few nibbles whilst watching the sushi chef at work, or you can sit at a table and have a proper meal.
This being Paceville, the atmosphere will be upbeat, young, hip and fun and you will be surrounded by many young people on a night out.
